The grilled sting ray at the street food haven Jalan Alore, Kuala Lampur... one of the most delicious memories from our Malaysia trip this summer. Downloading vacation memories can be quite difficult... specially if it leads to sleepless night thereafter craving for another vacation! #streetfoodbliss #sahafamilyvacation #malaysiaunblogged #selfpaid A chat 💭 over instastory and an instagram post earned us this impromptu get together at our close pals' pad. A simple menu but traditional Bengali epics... deemer devil, luchi, aloor dom, mangsho. My contribution was the attempted baked rasgulla and converting my non food-blogger friends into compulsive clickers and experts of flatlays (check out the last pic)! Lady M makes the most incredible pizzas at home... so flavorful, no yeast, customized toppings for the Z-Sisters and most importantly, they come in unlimited servings! For the rest, you will have to check out all that jazz happening in the city with the pizza available for a dirham... #Aed1PizzaAtRicetta! What are you up to this weekend? #weekendbliss Morning #Thursday! Leqaimats might be a very delicious idea for breakfast right now... but these will have to wait. A delirious end to a fascinating Emirati cooking session with @chefrabeeamer at #Aseelah @radissonbludxb followed by an elaborate Emirati lunch. Do book into this tour with @fryingpanadventures if you want an insight into the local cuisine, a delicious lunch, and fabulous goodies in the way of recipe cards and homemade spices!!! #deliciousbliss #mediainvite Finally @3.fils! And relieved to find that it's not all hype... and also every fil worth of our first family dining out immediately after landing in Dubai, post an incredibly delicious summer. The homegrown eatery by the scenic fishing harbour filled our senses. Chef @akmal_anuar and his lovely wife seemed so hands on and warm, attending the guests personally. A chef driven small scale restaurant, focus on sourcing the finest produce, a bit of creativity, efficiency in service and consistency... are these the only ingredients to make a restaurant tick? Btw, this Fremantle Octopus tastes as dope as it looks! #deliciousbliss #selfpaid Because no matter how much time I spend in Kolkata, it's never enough... because no matter how much I do #Uber or #Ola, I can never stop loving the yellow cabs... and because no matter what I post, there will always be more story to share. Where is your dream taking you tonight? Not the wicked ones please... Night night folks! #goodnightbliss Iliish aka the Hilsa. Politics, Geography, Economics and of course History... all these subjects can be exolained by this legendary catch of the rainy season. Only as Bengalis know it ~ be it on the Bangladesh side of Bengal ~ "Opar Bangla" or the Indian side of Bengal ~ "Epar Bangla". And lot of verbal and emotional conflict on whose Hilsa tastes better.
